Land Surveillance and Monitoring Systems and Equipment

The first meeting of the thematic cycle on Land Defense Strategies took place on December 10, 2020, and had as its central subject the Land Surveillance and Monitoring Systems and Equipment.

The meeting included the presentation of the Community Land Monitoring Model of Alianza Ceibo in Ecuador, focused on the Case of the Sinangoe Community, presented by Hernán Payaguaje, General Coordinator of Alianza Ceibo; and the presentation on the Organization and Complementary Roles in Land Monitoring, based on the case of the Guardians and Warriors of the Caru Indigenous Land, in Brazil, presented by Claudio da Silva, Forest Guardian of the Caru Indigenous Land, and Maísa Guajajara, Forest Warrior of the Caru Indigenous Land.
