The third and last meeting of the thematic cycle on Strategies to Fight COVID-19 took place on November 19, 2020, focused on the role of Community Health Agents.
The meeting included the presentation of the Saúde e Alegria case, in Brazil, presented by Caetano Scannavino, Coordinator of the Saúde e Alegria Project, and Djalma Formiga, Community Health Agent of the Municipal Health Secretariat of Santarém in the Suruacá community, in the Tapajós-Arapiuns Extractive Reserve; and with the presentation of Viviana Velástegui from the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador, on actions promoted in the province of Pastaza in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
