Indigenous and Local Governance in Government Responses to COVID-19

The second meeting of the thematic cycle on Strategies to fight COVID-19, took place on October 15, 2020, dedicated to discussing Indigenous and Local Governance in Government Responses to COVID-19.

The meeting included the presentation of the COIAB case in Brazil, presented by Mariazinha Baré, Project Manager for the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations in the Brazilian Amazon (COIAB); and the FENAMAD case, in Peru, presented by Julio Cusurichi, President of the Indigenous Federation of Madre de Dios River and Affluents (FENAMAD).
